UK-based Chris Ellis is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and composer, with a focus on improvising on grand piano and performing songs with voice and guitar. As well as original compositions, Chris also plays songs by artists such as Dick Gaughan, John Martyn, Vin Garbutt, Woody Guthrie, Ewan MacColl and Mike Scott. Chris performs solo or as a duo with Rosie Toll in the TCPA's show 'Land of Promise'. Past performances have included Hay Festival, Folk on the Pier, Glastonbury Festival, The National Theatre and The Royal Festival Hall.
